Agree with Carol, would have preferred to see Markstrom back in the game right away against the cellar dwelling yotes.

Due to points are close in the standings i hope willie switches up the power play 2, mathias for higgins (second in scoring just makes sense) , horvat for bonino (better faceoffs). then put burrows on the rw for netfront. Having a good powerplay 2 could really help momentum in a game

After watching the SJ game, its obvious WD needed to share the wealth. After the Sedins youve got the Horvat line, which is effective but not a #2 line. Vrbata playing with the Sedins on Tuesday just highlighted how thin they are up front, so keeping him away makes the team a little more threatening when Henrik and Daniel arent out there

Oh please good sir with all your knowledge and wisdom please tell us why higgins is a worthy contributor,to be playing on the 2nd line and have powerplay time that he does not use wisely.

I was suppose to be down there for this game but had to come back to work; hopefully the Canucks get an 8-0 lead after two periods so Markstrom can come in for the turd period to get some confidence back.

Apparently Horvat is practicing on the 2nd and Burrows on the 1st unit replacing Kassian.

A young, solid player: Wingels
A starting goaltender: Lehtonen
And a first round pick.

Most people wanted to add guys like Strome, Ekblad, Wheeler as "throw ins" which was a no go for me.

I flipped Strome for OEL this morning.

I'm happy with the deal. Now, hopefully Bezz tanks the rest of the way and I gEt a shot at the big three. If not, Mitch Marner.
