Carol Schram: Vancouver Canucks Game Review: Huge Win over Wild, Alex Biega Steps In Missing three of their top four defensemen and two of their top three centres, the Vancouver Canucks gutted out a 3-2 win on Monday night over their conference rival Minnesota Wild. Call-up Alex Biega's first-ever NHL goal proved to be the winner.

He looks like a linemate-elevator. Got the speed, skills and hockey instincts to really find himself/his linemates in favourable situations to take advantage of good opportunities. Also would explain the ridiculous shooting %

His first few games I thought he looked slow and doubted him having much of an impact this season. So far in 2015 he has looked like a different player, flashes of being a difference maker sooner rather than later
