Hawks need to be better at their own blue line as I felt Boston had way too many clean entries into their zone. |

Getting the Leafs fans excited for no reason man. If only Nonis would actually do something big like that. Mid level roster players? Sure other than Kessel or Kadri I don't really care who goes. One can dream lol |

I won't believe it until I see it happen, BUT... this is not the first place that I've seen/talked about this rumour.
What I heard was Grabovski, Kulemin for Vinny and the 3rd overall.
With that said... I don't see how Tampa Bay (who could buy out Vinny themselves) would trade away a pick where they ould land Drouin who would be an instant replacement for St. Louis when he retires...
Also, I'm not sure on this but I don't think you're able to amnesty anyone who hasn't played at least 30 games with your roster. Meaning Vinny would have to play the entire next season with the Leafs and then be bought out the following season as the window for amnesty would be closed for the first year. Interesting but I think it's a farce. |

It got ugly quite a few times.
Someone brought up in the previous blog that something may be up with Seabrook.
He had fallen down like 3 or 4 times from what I noticed. I really hope it isn't anything medically related. |

I'm wondering if its a foot issue... he doesn't have the powerful skating stride we're used to seeing. |

Can we please see some intensity on the PP! I remember seeing a breakdown a few games ago showing that a succesful powerplay starts with the man controling the puck always moving his feet, yet the Hawks all sit flat footed looking for a cross ice pass
Hawks PP = pass four times than hit a shin pad. |

He is tripping like the kids skating during the intermission relay race trying to jump over the hockey stick. |

We have discovered the Eastern Conference equivalent of Mike Babcock in terms of working refs—Claude Julien.
Probably the dumbest comment I've read. |

The concept of Lecavalier and the third pick for Grabo, Kulemin + a couple of Toronto's pick makes some sense. Its much more of a money deal than a hockey or cap space deal. |

That top line of Boston's scare's the hell out of me. Damn, they're aggressive with the puck and they can all shoot. If Horton is out for any significant amount of time it would help, but even with Seguin on that line they're dangerous. |

Obviously, I can't divulge the source. It is a very good one. Especially for Leaf stuff. |

Yeah that line is frightening and going to give Hawks all they can handle.
Hawks can help themselves by playing better in their own zone... way too many giveaways. That forecheck is going pretty good for Boston though.
I can't wait for Saturday to be able to see my first Final game in person ever! |

In the previous blogs comments someone mentioned that the Bruins may have gotten kicked out of their Hotel but it looks like it was planned.
"The hotel situation in Chicago has had some in the Bruins' camp grumbling a little bit. A couple of conventions have the downtown hotel rooms at a premium and the Bruins will be switching hotels after tomorrow night's game. As it is now, some of the B's staff is staying separately from the team...."
