The Simmonds hit was basically unavoidable. He was skating parallel with Ennis and starts his hit, at the same time Ennis starts his turn. This hit should not even be reviewed.

The Schenn hit on the other hand is something that should get 1 game. It was a different scenario all together as Schenn could see his back for a few seconds and still finished the check.

The wife and I were 8th row for the Last islander game. We literally stared at our smartphones 75% of the time. So boring.

First time in a long time im dreading going to the game tomorrow. I work 5 mins form there so have to drive home drive all the way back. Its just not worth it to see poor product. TO bad its not exotic dancer night

Me too. I work 5 minutes from the arena. Drive all the way home in Amherst. Pickup the kid, have her parents drive from north buffalo out here to watch him, so I can drive back. The Suckbers are so. Unexciting they aren't even worth the gas, let alone everything else. Plus I have a cold and feel like poop. Forget all that.

Me too. I work 5 minutes from the arena. Drive all the way home in Amherst. Pickup the kid, have her parents drive from north buffalo out here to watch him, so I can drive back. The Suckbers are so. I know...and b/c of the lockout, I didn't get to see them when I was in Buffalo for Christmas.

At least I didn't have to pay for the tickets...only the gas $ to get there

These are things I always think of then never do them the next time.

I wish they would extent the subway down to Larkinville and make parking even easier.

end of 1st period , say "F this crap" and watch reruns of friends the rest of the night


and I supported this team with seasons from 1990 til the 1st lockout, i have alot less heartache now

I've had a few beers and said some things that don't make sense this year. It's been frustrating. They've gotten screwed hard only made worse by how they screw themselves harder. It's just "mind bottling".

great thing about smart phones, notifications when they score so if it sounds like its getting interesting you can wrestle the remote away from her and turn the game back on
