Go Leafs Go! - Horsey Sauce
They're plenty scary enough, maybe more so with Leaf killer Marchand joining their battalion. They will not be going out like a fart in the wind. |

Panthers have to play better tonight and even this series up
They played very much better tonight.
Maurice said pregame that they were just starting to get to their game....
sounded like coachspeak hooey, but that’s exactly what that was tonight.
Panthers looked good |

Florida just needs to stick to their game plan. It's worked well for them over the last 4 years. Hit hard. Aim high, or for the numbers. Keep the elbows up. Trust in the strong American dollar that the league will continue to favour American markets, and call the game accordingly. Worked for Boston, and has worked for Florida.
Imagine if Bennett was a Leafs. He'd be tossed from the league.
"Leafs well no doubt come out hard." Easilly countered. Toronto penalty. Toronto penalty. Toronto penalty. Toronto penalty. This easily leads to a Florida goal and completely eliminates any hope of momentum for Toronto. It also makes them feel like their skating on eggshells. They're afraid to throws a hit or be too aggressive because it could land them in the box. Florida on the other hand, the get to play by the American-market rule book. No worries. elbows up, aim high, a little hop, and aim for the numbers. All good. Player safety? Not when you're playing the Canadian markets. Do what you must to win, the league will sort out the rest.
Toronto, though, they'll strictly enforce those non-dangerous calls like interference, tripping, hooking, they'll even imagine a cross-check from Domi and Carlo.
Carlo! Hahaha! He's finding out he isn't in Boston anymore. The rule book has changed. Poor guy.
Can you image Winnipeg, Edmonton and Toronto all winning their round 2 series? The league sure can, and they're taking steps to prevent it. |

Best of 3, the Leafs have home ice advantage. This has been a great series to watch, so far. Every game so far has been closely contested, down to the end excitement. (Even last night with 2 goal lead late, it never felt like the Panthers lead was safe)
Wish we didn’t have to wait two days before the next game. |

Stop whining...the Laffs were outplayed from start to finish last night and I'm not even a Panther fan.

People really need to just watch other games that don't include their team or who they have in their playoff hockey pools.
Yes poop gets missed, but it's right across the league not just one team specific. Oilers got away with a couple slashes last game that should've been called, but then again Binnington junior did his best to get a call last game too when he stuck his leg out. So maybe that's why the refs let them go.
Or sometimes they just don't see it. |

Except it wasn't a head shot but hey, why let pesky facts get in the way of your whiney rant about Canadian fans right?

Why don’t you just let that stupid poop go?
It was overlooked, ignored and forgotten until you come in here breathing fire and give the guy the rise he was looking for.

The guy who responded wasn't even the OP for starters and you seem to have no objections to coming into the Leaf comments to throw your 2 cents in so maybe you should practice what you preach if you are going to tell others to just 'let poop go'.
Breath fire for pointing out it wasn't a head shot? A bit sensitive about the topic of head shorts are we?
I'll leave you in your echo chamber now - did I say that right? |

Dude, don’t try to twist around into I’m sensitive about head shots...this is about you acting like a little child.
I came to your side over there with good intentions and wasn’t trolling anyone. Then you come out like a flaming douchebag as you did. Stay over there in LeafLand and protect the realm from any trolling interlopers. |
