The 3 G thing makes sense after the guys spoke to rationale......but like you said; doesn't matter a hill o'beans if the D coughs up access to the net resulting in 3+ GAA each game, we don't have that fire-power consistently, so that's just digging a grave. There aren't ANY good G-men available in this league via trade, that's a very clear point. Cossa needs time, Hutch is only a 25-game PTO (as I understand it...), and we have consistency issues......

That being said; if we come out tonight like the last game, things are gonna get real interesting. The simple fact is, in the East, a team cannot afford "off days" and expect to survive or make a sustained run at the WC. And in order to make that run a team needs stud D and G......we're getting better, but nowhere near what it would take to make a hard run. This team has some really good stretches of play, but have yet to consistently put it all together.....let's hope the next 10 show the team getting past Storming, Forming, and Norming....straight into PERFORMING!!

Mazur could be a very big surprise. What little I saw of him looked promising, just takes a while to really get it all together.....

I haven’t been able to watch a game with Mazur. I’ve heard he’s fast and “hard nosed”. Not a Marchand, but similar category? Is that accurate from what you’ve seen?

Would really like to see the wings clamp down on their team defense tonight. Let's see if they can win a game without giving up 3+ goals.

I have Family in Grand Haven, they know folks at Van Andel, those who've watched him say he's a..."richard"... to other players friend or foe, hard skater, every movement is a battle, plays with an edge.... I think the kid's got potential to be a game-changer but still needs to develop his game..... He'll be a solid player, if he develops his game the right way, he's gonna be dangerous....
