The rangers young players need to produce and wins happen. They aren’t 1st line players which is fine but they have to produce like 2nd line players if they want to stay in the top 6. Great defensive game as well |

These kinds of wins just didn’t happen under GG. Full start to finish efforts. Ice was tilted all game. They stuck to the game plan and completely neutralized SEA
If trocheck/wheeler/cuylle start chipping in it’s over. Although I fear wheeler may not have much left to offer. He looks good in the fancy stats so who knows |

Wheeler will be fine. He's not a long term solution just a stop gap. If othmann keeps playing like a maniac in the AHL he'll be up sooner rather than later |

To answer Jan's question about Tuesday goalie:
Igor is Vezina level goalie. I don't care how many games Quick wins, he should NEVER start 2 games in a row if Igor is healthy! |

Will the league discipline Cuylle for the punch from the bench during the CK fight? |

snarky -I guess you don’t think it’s a legitimate question. And why would I care what the league does with Gourde? |

Wasn’t meant to be snarky at all. Thought that was a rule |

My bad-sorry
loved how Krieder came to the defense of Fox who came to the aid of Chytil |

Good game. First game Where Cuylle was noticeable and not in the best way. That'll happen. He'll be fine. Quick was very good. Kudos to him. |

Yeah, so he can be in the box instead of taking other dumb penalties. |

I am rooting for him but most nights I just don't see much aside from his faceoff prowess. He really caught that guy off guard with his fighting skills. Was it McCann? |

It was McCann. When Trocheck isn't taking dumb offensive zone penalties, he's fine. Not good, not bad. Wish he didn't miss the net so much. |

Im not making any knee jerk reactions to anything, good or bad, this early into the season under a new coach

Yeah. He is properly cast as our 3C now. Some people will still hold him to 1C standards, though. And, I'm not specifically talking about any of the comments made here so far. He is very much what you want a 3C to be. And that means at times he will be overmatched and that may result in penalties here and there. We have guys that draw them out of opposing forwards, too. Tro averages 1 minor every 3 games. I feel like this gets slightly blown out of proportion. |

I don’t mind him just don’t love 6 years at 5.6 million per for a 3C lol |

A fair point. But, this is the landscape the owners and GM's have created. Every team has overpriced players. It's more that the salary cap is ridiculously low, than that a lot of these guys are truly overpaid. |
