Excited! It’s like forever since game 7 vs NJ. Let gooo

I like the lineup, it’s definitely deeper then last year. Hopefully Lavy doesn’t juggle lines like GG did. Let them build chemistry ffs

If Cuylle can be a productive NHL player, I like that 3rd line. So scoring and some snarl.

I just think fans have to have reasonable expectations for Cuylle. If they are fine with him being a productive, hard working, physical bottom 6 player that’s fine. If they are expecting 20 plus goals a season? They are going to be disappointed lol

Nice season opener Jan

I am expecting him to BE Tom Wilson and at some point this season kick Wilson's ass. Expectations too high?

My expectations for Cuylle, Maximum: 10 goals, 25 points, 75 hits, 50 + PIM. Anything more than that, I'd be thrilled.

Would much rather have Vesey in the lineup, he can pretty much play in any situation. Hopefully hes in the lineup sooner rather than later.

My biggest concern is Quick. Was not impressed with him in the preseason. Hopefully he will settle in and provide solid backup duties for the 20-25 games he will start.

man, Buffalo gave a lot of money to Owen Power

I guess they figure that they goofed when they gave Dahlin a bridge for 6 mil a year and if they had given him what they gave Power yesterday they wouldn't have to give him 11 million a year

but I think this Power contract is probably the largest ever given to a player who has accomplished so little in the league already

could end up being a bargain, but, the next lockout, the ownership of Buffalo should be very very very quiet

I feel the same. But, I really don't know much about Pitlick. Hopefully, he's the same type of player and brings more to the table than Jimmy. That's where I'm sitting on this one.

Yeah, I don't know much about him either. I just love Vesey's work ethic. Always plays hard, never complains. Easy guy to root for

This is really random, but I was just looking on NHL.com Since Matthews has arrived into the NHL he leads the league in goals with 302.

Zibanejad & Kreider are tied for 16th overall with 204. Crazy that this team has had 2 top goal scores for a span of 8 years.

If our biggest complaint is Vesey as the extra forward, I will sign up for that

But Kreider can only tip in goals so it doesn’t count lol
