Thanks Sean. Hope you are enjoying married life.

I would explain why the Flames are a much better organization to all you losers, but I have neither the time nor the crayons to make it happen.

Go Flames.

I assume that's because most of the crayons are stuck up your nose

There was a time when, if someone brought up the idea of sticking foreign objects into random body orifices, we would get some good gifs from the posters on this thread.

It would all be bullpoop anyway. That organization doesn’t even remotely have its poop together.

Excellent game last night. Even with a majority AHL players the Oilers can win against the flames.

Hola Mrs McDavid. Did you have a good summer? Glad to see you’ve got your Oiler Pom poms out for the preseason.

What do you think is the final order of the Pacific division?
Has Holland done enough to put the Oilers out front?
If the Oilers fail in the playoffs this year, will next year be 29’s last in Edmonton?
Is Nurse really a top pairing D?
What about the bottom 6, is it good enough?
Will Campbell bounce back?

We wait for your answers.

I think it’s a huge mistake for us to go into this season with the same defense and goaltending that wasn’t good enough last year. Hoping for natural development from everyone and some bounce back years is a recipe for disaster if you ask me.

Nurse would have a lot better shot at being a solid top pairing D if the team would get him someone better than a career 3rd pairing dman like Ceci. I was really hoping to not see him back this season. I hope drai will want to resign. If he went to the open market I’m sure someone would be willing to give him 14-15mill a year to jump ship. It’s not very often that an elite talent like that hits the open market. I can’t even think of the last time it happened.

I haven’t seen any preseason action yet. Been real busy working. Has anyone on a PTO looked good? Hoping Gagner doesn’t make the team. I don’t think at this point he’s still a NHL player no matter how much I like the person. Not on a contender anyways.

Pre-season has been all about trying to fill one position and adjust the defence combinations. Starting Monday in Seattle the team will become more like the season starting line-up. When you have the full line-up it will look like a top 10 team working to be number 1 by end of the season.
