Why not qualify Vitali? You maintain his rights until age 27 for nothing. I think Bear comes back on a 1 year show me contract for less than his QO - claygolf83
Akito Hirose, Nils Hoglander, and Vitali Kravtsov WERE signed to their qualifying offers....WERE.
A 2nd, 3rd and 5th wasted on Dermott and Bear(2nd was to create cap space used for him). Also,,, very surprised they qualified Kravstov. - boonerbuck
Stop crying all the time, what goes around comes around. The Canucks signed Travis Hamonic to a PTO and they signed Luke Schenn out of free agency, they flipped both of them for assets....Elias Pettersson (D-Petey) and Sawyer Mynio, free assets, if you will.

This is funny. No one on here has cried as much as you about wasted picks... you just flip flop depending on the GM's name.
I'm trying to be positive in a sea of negativity. - LeftCoaster
I honestly don't think things have been overly negative at all as far as new management moves go... at least not compared to the past. I'd say about 80% positive and neutral these days.
The knee jerk fan boys are now the biggest joke since they desperately overreact and create narratives about reactions to justify their performance here.

I think there's just a lot of negativity carried over from the Benning years, people got to the point to where they just had nothing to look forward to. Other than drafting Pettersson, which he didn't want to do, and Quinn Hughes it was just a massive collection of failure year after year.
I don't know if Allvin will be successful or not, I'm just glad Benning is gone...at least I have that.
The Canucks finished second last in 2016, they got the 5th overall pick, of that entire draft they got a grand total of 69 NHL games played, just pathetic!!!

Tree was qualified but we never saw him again. There were other Russians who went back to KHL to develop further and try the NHL later again. Krav could go either way.
As for Bear don’t think anyone is signing him until he’s healthy again. Unless a team needs LTIR to create cap space.

Nice big whiny negative post only minutes after claiming "I'm trying to be positive in a sea of negativity"

If he truly is expected back by or in November then it's not a very good LTIR cap move for a team.

Tryamkin is a free agent tomorrow I read, it's suspected he'll sign an NHL contract with someone.
