How do they make a deep playoff run if they traded everyone. I know Hughes Bear top pearing is stellar but man we will be trading all our secondary scoring and Bubble Demko. |

Out of all the names mentioned I think Boeser is the most likely and probably the only one to be moved. A couple of months ago I thought it would be a big fat Lefty chance they find a suiter but I think they could find a trade partner now especially with a little salary retained. Not holding my breath for a great return... probably a role player or 3rd round pick because it's still a cap dump. It is what it is. |

Here is my point about trading Boeser. I don't find him a negative value. I think he will end up with 20 goals and sixty points. He is finding his stride finally with JTM. If he is not getting a positive return then you keep his production.
I have seen a few times on here about retaining salary on his trade by quite a few posters (NH mostly) and then say FA will not throw away money on a OEL buyout.
So if you retain 2 mil on Boeser that is two years so 4 mil. Then they suggest trading Myers after bonus so add another five mil of dead money. We in a blink of an eye are now talking nine mil dead real dollars for FA and two players to and their production needs to be replaced.
I can easily see OEL LTIR this year and does not cost FA a penny.

I can't see the devils going after boeser
They are going to try to sign meier and bratt so won't have the cap space to trade for boeser
Not with contracts like nico, jack Hughes, Hamilton and whatever bratt and Meier take up
And the devils have depth they need to sign as there are many ufa or RFA players
Just don't think it will work cap wise unless devils trade Meier |

This will be the first year in a long time that there is no dead space on the books. Maybe it's overly optimistic, but I also feel OEL could be a prime candidate for LTIRetirement. He hasn't looked healthy for any long stretch since he got here.

Putting him on LTIR pretty well solves most of the cap issues. OEL to be Shea Webered.
I used the word issues but I don't actually feel it is a problem. Teams have smart people in office to do magic with the numbers. |

I would 100% trade Boeser, he’s somewhat redeemed himself after looking so bad for much of the year. His points are a product of playing with better players but I think teams will see value in his game. He generally makes good decisions with the puck. |

I agree seems unlikely. Boeser is much more likely to be traded to a team that needs offensive production like NYI, Min, LA or CLB. Buffalo also makes a certain amount of sense. |

I think everyone on here would 100% trade Boeser, for the right return.
He's not on anyone's untouchable list.
I think he still has some value, but he clearly needs a change of scenery.

Scary thought...

Agree, he’s been through a lot of personal stuff and I think a change would do the kid some good. |

Boston wins in a shootout, getting closer to NHL history. As a good West Coast kid I hate the Bruins, it was all downhill for them after they got Cam Neely, but as a hockey fan, they’ve had an incredible season. Gotta tip your cap to them. |

Reuby probably has an extra set of pompoms if you need them. I hope they get trashed in the playoffs because they're scum. |

Hard to call a 64pt pace an outright cap dump. A role player or 3rd is a waste of time. As for great return idk about that happening it’ll take some creativity or team really seeing him bouncing back. Cap floor teams could be in on him.
Caps Habs Pens be my guesses. |

I said retain 665k on Boeser & makes it 6m for his new team.
I focus on Myers gone & Garland. Prefer Brock over him. Want scoring depth & the lines to be duos & find the 3rd wheel who gels. D needs 1st. |

The thing about Myers is after he is paid his bonus it costs 1 mil. You won't find a player that can do the tough match up or put in the minutes at one mil.
