I think this draft will be like so many where we've had multiple 1st rndrs, and cap space, and stated how the picks are up for trade, and we'll weaponize the cap space.
Then it all just goes like normal, take the picks and wait for 3-4,or more, years. Much ado about nothing !!
I keep hoping for a big trade bringing in a top-6 forward, and/or top-4 blue liner that will put this team over the top !!
We have the $$$, picks, and prospects to put packages together.
Since Provorov and Fabbro haven't signed, I'm pretty confident GMDW is looking at the available D (Noah Dobson??), who would fit and putting a package together.
A new forward name that seems to be floating around is Jordan Kyrou. His no-trade clause kicks in on July 1, and GM Bill Armstrong seems to think they have the player to take his place - Snuggerud. Also, Kyrou (27 y.o) has a $8.125MM AAV contract through '30-31. He would be nice - as would Jason Robertson, if he's still available. We'll see in the next couple of days.
