6 year deal? What? He's 37! Sorry there's no magic pixie dust thats going to keep him from aging, he wont keep up that pace. Marchand's a talent but I think he was driven this year because he could see a cup happening. If Florida loses its edge, I bet he slows down quick.

He isn't getting $30 million from any team at 37 yrs old. He's smart to start high, but he'll be lucky to get half that amount on a 2 yr deal. |
