Their record in elimination games sucks but the one series they did win, they won in Game 6 after laying an egg in Game 5 against Tampa Bay. And won the series in Tampa Bay.

If history can repeat itself in the negative, it can repeat itself in the positive.

This is the Ottawa Senators. This is the team the Leafs can and have always been able to beat in the playoffs.

The Leafs are terrified to lose but in this case, they can afford to take big risks because they're still up 3-2. They can take the offensive risk and put Ottawa on the back foot. They did it a bit in Game 4 but played way too safe and cautious in Game 5. That's why they fell apart.

Be relentless on the attack. Draw penalties. Execute on the PP. Ullmark will crack.

I'm not going to say I agree with all your proposed changes and we all know some of them just won't happen (like Reilly out) but I do like the swap of Willy and Marner to try and get something going offensively.

The top line was on for all 4 goals last night, they all could have / need to be better along with just about every player who had a Maple Leaf on their jersey. I'm not sure there is one player last night I thought was really good however looking at who was where from a +/- perspective (yes it isn't the all telling stat but...) take a peek at who was even and who was a - and by how much.

You can't shouldn't have your best / top paid players as your minuses and your 'support staff' like Benny, Laughton Domi, Lorentz, etc. all as even!

Reaves absolutely sucks at hockey. Whatever benefit you get from an early game hit disappears when he's on the ice for goals against.

Robertson sucks at everything except shooting. He's tiny, weak and can't skate. He doesn't move the needle.

If there is one major change that can steal a game, it's Woll.

Stolarz has not played bad, he came in on a hot streak but I think that hot streak has cooled off. His numbers have dropped off from his regular season performances. He got another opportunity because his record after a loss is fantastic. But then he lost again.

Stolarz is 6'6" and yet is always bent over, allowing himself to get screened and giving up floaters from long distance.

This is not to blame him for the losses because the Leafs PP has disappeared and they didn't get a single goal in Game 5. But if anybody can come in off the bench and steal a game mid series, it's Woll.

This fragile Leafs team might only muster 1 or 2 goals which means their goalie might need to allow 0.

I will watch the occasional LFR on YouTube after a win. I stopped watching after a loss. But respect the guy for the brand he built from his fandom and his current progress in running and growing a legit company.

TBH most of what he says is very similar to the stuff spouted off in here most days.

If I'm being honest I find his stuff tiresome because he just yells so much and he's fairly annoying but his rant after the goal was funny to me.

But isn't that the whole YouTube gig? You have to present an energy level that keeps peoples attention for 5 to 10 min, otherwise they click elsewhere and move on.

I have tried watching some other "channels" that discuss hockey, but they present it in such a monatone and dry manner that it's massive snooze fest. Can't even stand any of the big media TSN or SN shows/ hosts, though would pick TSN over SN.

As for actual topics and discussion, there is no real difference, every sports outlet is just recycling the same stuff ad nauseum.
