The way he's played so far this season sens fans would probably give him away. He's so worried about getting hurt he doesn't hit. But he's a jacked gym rat. I wouldn't point the finger at him. The Sens main issue has been bad habits and coaching. Chychrun's shot is amazing and they just don't seem to use it.

So many wrong things in 1 article:

- its hard to bring player in MTL as the attention on them is plain stupid, they tend to want to avoid it.

- With a good financial advisor, the rich dont pay much taxes in life

- we already have an overload of D

- We are are not buyer, but yes probably are looking more at young promising players rather than picks at this point ( ok i'll kinda give you that one)

Habs are flush with draft picks for 2 years & should weaponize them along with the cap space. Those 2 factors can really speed up the rebuild if done smartly.

Not to mention, HuGo already stated (many times) they are not interested in taking any short cuts.

But yes, let the Habs dress 10 D, the more the better....

I expect some D and picks to be traded for either better picks or forwards that will work into the top 6.

Montreal promised Monahan they would trade him as a rental.

After locking up Montembeault they will likely move forward with him and Primeau. That means they are probably open to moving Jake Allen.

But why would they pay premium prices to be buyers at the deadline? Seems to make far more sense to use their draft capital to make a deal in the offseason and/or use their cap space to add help in free agency.

I do agree that their fans are pretty knowledgeable...

it was reported, not confirmed by either party thought

Allen, a D and a draft pick will leave for forward help

For #91, I'm on the fence

its hard to bring player in MTL as the attention on them is plain stupid, they tend to want to avoid it.

mmm…depends on the individual. Some want to avoid the spotlight whilst others thrive in it. If you’ve got a talent with a killer’s mindset, they’d love to be a part of a hockey crazed city. The kinda guy who wants to be the big fish in a big pond, not a small one. Are they rare? Unfortunately. But are they special when they arrive? You bet.

It’s why LeBron wanted LA. It’s why Bryce Harper wanted Philly. It’s why Moss became a Patriot. It’s why countless people decide on Yankees pinstripes.

Montreal is one of those towns for the NHL. They’re just down right now. When they’re hot, it’s good for hockey. Who wouldn’t wanna be a S-Tier player in that city and help them get to a Cup?

It’s just more special in some cities.

But if you’re not a killer; if your skin is thin, then yeah you need not apply.

Checks out. Let Kent cook! Laval the hottest team in the AHL right now in the midst of a big playoff push. Arby and Mailloux an absolute unit of a pairing.

Habs vs Nordiques. Nate the Great in Montreal in the prime-time slot. (frank) drouin. The schedule makers finally got something right for a change!

They also started the rebuild with a handful of good to great young players/prospects already in the system, could potentially speed things up. It wasn't a scorched earth rebuild.

Hughes and Gorton have given Montreal exactly what they needed. Stable management that will take the pain of a rebuild so they can return to sustained success. If they bring on a higher priced talent it will be someone who knows where the net is. Desperate for natural goal scorer.

The Habs, being in a rebuild, will be both....buyer and seller. They have some expiring contracts that belong to players that might be of interest to clubs heading to PO's, so seller mode is in play. The less likely is buyer mode, but if the right player were to be available, they could certainly buy.
