Yeah I would not consider Manny Lee, Ed Sprague/Kelly Gruber, Pat Borders, Rickey Henderson/Candy Maldonado, elite or even above average at this stage of their careers

As for the pitching Morris was a legendary Playoff performer but was pretty average in the reg season most of his career, and below average by this stage

Cone was only with the jays for 2 months,

Stewart was also over the hill, but another "playoff guy"

Guzman was a solid #2 as were Key/Hentgen

Stots was a below average 5

Bullpen was elite

So I don't see a 100 plus win team, but a team built for the playoffs

“Pretty crazy Ross Atkins isn’t here. Also pretty crazy Shohei Ohtani isn’t either”

Now, as for the defense, WGAFFF if it's a rental or not? We have a few of those on the team every GD year.

If the defense is (frank)ed, fixed it. The sooner this team is a TEAM and not revolving door of injuries and mental issues, they might get somewhere.

Have to have two bumholes from Calgary. Just take Zadorov FFS and game on.

It's a little annoying watching the seasons change but for some reason the Leafs can't get their (frank)ing D in line. I've seen plenty of perfect D man move to other teams for scraps and yet here the Leafs still are.
