I hate games like these. Washington has 5 goals in 4 games and their goalies have a save percentage of .886 allowing 3.7 goals against / game. We should slaughter them.

So I'm guessing we should look for Ovechkin to get on the board with his first goals of the season and Kuemper to remember that he once won a cup.

Putin would murder Ovi’s family who have been held in a cell in Lubyanka Prison since his first game in the NHL.

To me, this is a bit of a slippery slope.

I actually don't have a problem with guys who want to make statements during warmup, but at what point to you draw the line?

And is anyone in the NHL vetting these things?

Yeah, I'm a grumpy old man, but I don't like the idea of 18 guys skating around with 18 different causes on their sticks during a game. Save it for off the ice.

Keep in mind I'm so grumpy I don't like goalie masks that feature artwork specific to the goalie (think Belfour or Potvin) - I prefer guys who make the mask about the team, not the individual.

Get off my lawn.

Players have using it for the past five years with no problems. I’m not sure what bad stuff is going to happen by undoing the ban.
