I like it for the Ducks. Rebuilding young team, Ross is a good teammate and as you said he’ll keep the opponents honest if need be.

As long as he doesn’t have to fight anybody close to his size or bigger he’ll be fine. Wish him all the best but he’s never been the same since Morin clocked him. Hopefully he turns it around out west I’ll be watching 👍

He's fine making whatever for the Ducks now since they're not really competing for anything. I don't believe in the whole "deterrent" factor of fighters at all, but since the Ducks are still building they could do far worse things than slightly overpay a fighter. Even if it's purely a mental thing for the young kids, feeling safer with him in the lineup, it's fine for them.

I'd be more critical of it if they figured to be a playoff team.

I know it is Eklund...But this outcome could very well happen in this conference.

I think the Canes could easily finish first in the division. But full agree that the top two teams are going to be CAR/NJ, one way or another.

Canes are arguably the most underrated team in the league. The devils got a year older and are just rife with talent. That Jack Hughes is a special player.
