Oh yeah, it's been an adventure for sure. Very fortunate to have the family and support that we do, as well as the means to take care of ourselves. It was stressful, but we were able to evacuate and find accommodations fairly smoothly. Finally got back home last week and just starting to re-acclimate.

The final piece of the puzzle, Hughes should easily win the Mark Messier leadership award, as well as the Norris, Demko wins the Vezina and Pouty wins Hart, Art Ross and the Selke, while Kuzmenko wins the Rocket Richard.
The team wins 1st overall draft pick.

Hell of a good player but I am not sold on the captaincy. Doesn't matter what I think it is done and over. Canucks taking care of business.

A few things left to do. I hear Pearson is coming back with an A so someone needs to be moved, but I don't think it will happen today. Canucks should let QH enjoy his day in the limelight and back to business tomorrow.

As much as I like to poop on them, I do have to say the people of Alberta were extremely kind and generous when it came to welcoming us in from the evacuation. Lots of good stories came out of a rough situation.

Yeah if folks lost their poop about Bo not being physical, be interesting the reaction here.

I'm not against the choice at all - all different kinds of captains. Canucks have always leaned more to the 'lead by example' model. It does make me wonder if Petey's days are numbered though. Another log on the fire for conspiracy theorists such as myself that think Petey is not long for Vancity.
