Setting the market may be the most logical reason.

But I wonder if some of these deals are done, just not made public, to create more of a slash in announcing them together, rather than just one here or another there.

That being said, with NHL caps opening soon, they'd better get going on generating regular content/hype or they may get lost in the news cycle.

Any possibility MTL signs Daoust or Giguere as one of their 3 FAs?

I don’t know if Daoust will be up for playing. She was on sabbatical last year to have more time for her son and coach the College Bourget team with gf Hanna Bunton who’s also a hockey player, tried to find out if they wanted back in the mix but no confirmation so far. As for Giguere, if they want a bit more youth, it could be a possibility as she’s 26, 6 years younger than Poulin.

We'll see if the T's and I's can happen for announcements tomorrow. Sounds like the goal is to get announcements rolling tomorrow...then the flood gates will open.

I heard Sauvageau in an interview and she was saying there was a logical order to the news releases: teams, GMs, then coach, then players. We should expect an annoucement maybe tomorrow about coaches and then the floodgates about players. They'll probably want to wait a few days as to not eclipse the coaches news, so earliest is probably Friday for players. That's my assumption anyway from what she said during the interview at 98,5 last week.

According to BPM Sports radio, goaltender @adesbiens30 has received offers from 4 of the 6 #PWHL teams. Happy for her but she’s a must sign for @PWHL_Montreal…
