I would think Provorov is more valuable than Boeser. |
|
|
|
I was hoping for an update on the Tom Wilson (aka the Unicorn) trade proposals.
But to answer your question: Proorov > Bosser |

Dont get much of a chance to see Provy from out west but man he seems to have worn out his welcome in Phily.
1 for 1 straight up.... hell ya I would make that trade if I was Vancouver.

Absolutely NO
Forget about who is worth what, but how does Boeser help the Flyers?
A guy that MAY score 30 or he may score 14...Flyers got them already.
Flyers right shot wingers:
Konecny (31 goals)
Tippett (27 goals)
Atkinson (DnP, Prev 23 goals)
Foerster (21, 8gp 3-4-7, AHL All-Star 20 goals)
Danny B should be fired if he made that move. |

I would do that if I was Vancouver in a heartbeat. They both need a change of scenery imo but Provorov would likely flourish on a good team. I like him. |

It’s a good deal for VAN. Boeser is a JVR replacement? Pretty sure Boeser would find his way into Torts’ doghouse.

I find the eye placement disturbing...

Hey Ek, what do you think of Tom Wilson for Provy? He and Nic D make the Flyers tough to play against.

The only thing Provorov should be bringing back is draft choices, first-round, draft choices and young prospects. |

Results in a highly paid overstack of LD in Vancouver. Only way I make this deal is if some salary can be shed and some assets can be recouped on. O’Brien is showing sign-ability issues in Philly, so maybe VAN can offer him what he wants (a guarantee of an NHL Contract / Slot) and maybe VAN can shed the Tylers contract (in part).
To VAN: D I. Provorov (2yrs @ $6.75M)
C J. O’Brien (former 19th Overall Pick)
To PHI: RW B. Boeser (2yrs @ $6.65M)
D Tyler Myers (50% Ret. @ $3.0M)
2023 3rd/TOR+2024 4th/NJD
But then you’ve got an LD side of Hughes, Provo, and Oliver Ek. If I make that deal it’s only because I’ve accepted the misery on Q’s face day in and day out to mean he doesn’t wanna be here and it’s only a matter of time before it leaks into his play, his value, and the room. So…
To NJD: D Q. Hughes
W C. Garland
2024 4th/NJD
To VAN: C/RW Dawson Mercer
RW Alexander Holtz (7th Overall in 2020)
D Simon Nemec (2nd Overall in 2022)
2025 1st Rd. Pick |

I tried this in NHL 23 and the response was "Are you nuts?"
