No offense intended but sitting Deh for Holloway by the very metrics you are removing Deh for is... stupid.
Holloway is a good player with a bright future but he is the forward version of Deh if not worse. Very prone to big mistakes that end up in the back of our net. Also would be at risk of being creamed as well. Very visibly Holloway is not ready for this level of hockey.
I agree Deh needs to be sat or very controlled as the #7. His mistakes are very costly. It's very unfortunate the Oilers don't have the depth to replace him with anything other than other suspect rookies. Broberg and Holloway are just more of the same with a chance of being even worse.
I just hope Deh can up his game, as the Oilers as a whole obviously need to do across the board. |

Tell me you haven’t watched Holloway play lately without telling me. |

There is a big difference in playing a guy like Desharnais who is getting a lot of PK time and bad matchups on the road and playing a guy like Holloway for under 10 minutes where he can be sheltered far more. |

Desharnais played a terrible game, great in the regular season but the playoff games too fast for him. |

Where’s Mrs McDavid that claimed LA was the only real competition for the Oil? Vegas has far more fire power and a very able D core. This is going to be a long series. |

Last year Nuge was great in the playoffs. 6 goals and 14 points in 16 games. These playoffs he's been pretty close to invisible. 0 goals, 4 assists in 7 games. |

Reported he has a knee injury. You're not seeing him with the breakaway speed but he's still better than everyone else on the planet even at 70%. Well maybe not Draisaitl. |

Rishaug took a phone video of him in a lot of difficulty in practice. It looked like a left knee. Did he take an awkward hit from Doughty? |

Everybody needs to settle the (frank) down. The Oilers played poorly and still only lost essentially a one goal game.
Do you think this is just how the Oilers are going to play now? Tonight isn’t even much of a must win game . Sit back, relax and enjoy watch instead of trying to forecast issues that may or may not be present in game 2. |

Are you poopting us? You think some Jabroni with a comment is gonna phase us after the the last 15 years? We’ve endured some of the highest quality trolls in that time.
You’re a made in China Wal-Mart quality troll - at best.

It is a must win. Again Oil are their own worst enemy. Get it done. McD and RNH need to step up 5/5 for sh!t to happen. Wonder if we see Campbell tonight or if Woody sticks with Skinner. |

Oh I didn’t realize this was an elimination game, because that’s the only must win game. |

nah. being down 2-0 is not ideal but a million teams have come back from it. |

Historically, NHL teams down 0-2 in a series are 51-330 overall in those series. That's not promising.

Stats are meaningless. You can use stats to prove anything that’s even remotely true. 72% of all people know that. Stats shmats. |
