Yes, so true. I've never been a JVR fan, but I like what I've seen from him since he came back from injury. He has helped Frosty and Tipper improve, which is great. That said, as has been already noted, it's a contract year and he always seems to have a better season on contract years (one of the reasons I've never bought into him as a team player). He's 33 and streaky, so not sure how many teams will be willing to give up quality assets for him at this point.

Prices are high at the deadline, if a contending team really thinks he can help them they will pay. JVR on a 3rd line for a good team is a nice depth piece for a playoff run. Good teammate, experienced and can play the PP.

Prices are always high at this time leading up to the deadline. They can go up or down, depending on a variety of factors. Depending on who is made available, JVR could be down the list aways.
