Doesn't make a lot of sense....so Holland is probably talking about it. What is Dumba going to be asking for on his next contract this off-season? What is Holland foolish enough to pay? How bad of a look would it be to sign RNH to that extension, and then more you 5mil PPG player right away? Are you able to move Barrie to slide Dumba in? Seems like a stretch.

There was talk Edmonton was interested in Dumba. At no point did I see RNH as a player to go the other way. Especially because of RNH's no move clause. Regardless of all the needs on the back end the Oilers have; Dumba doesn't check any boxes for me... so it's probably gonna happen.

Holland's MO. Know in the offseason they need a defensive defenseman. Do nothing about it until the deadline. See Kulak last year and Kulikov the season prior. Probably gonna give up a 1st ++ for Edmunson come deadline and then sell something to make the dollars work at 10c on the dollar.

Anything Holland does will make the team even worse.
