Frost has skill but there is no guarantee that he will be a top 6 forward. The Flyers have failed to put him with skilled wingers so they could see what they have in him. He’s low risk but Guerin could easily give up too much to get him. If he doesn’t crack top 6, he’s not an effective bottom 6 player.

That was a tough game to watch. To play like that against the worst team in league, ON HOME ICE, was kind of embarressing. Hopefully they play with more heart today in Dallas

I personally don't look at the league at top 6/bottom 6 anymore. I look at it as needing 3 scoring lines and then a 4th checking/energy line. I don't think Frost will ever be a big scorer in the league but he has the potential to be a decent offensive player in the league.

Agree that the NHL is now viewed as top 9/4th line. The Wild expectation is probably that Rossi will have a career equal to or better than Frost. So two smallish centers makes one of them redundant.
