We blow defensively- at times it looked like a Kraken practice in the O zone. Against better teams we may give up 60 shots a game.

We got crushed 5 x 5 -

3rd line sucks - PK sucks - The swarm Sucks

We can score goals -

Gibby sharp -

Was a little ugly last night besides the result. Gibson had a lot of saves but some weird body language throughout the game. Unless thats normal.

Gibson's body language on the first goal looked like, "Oh s***, here we go again." His movements when the puck wasn't in play made it look like he was playing through some pain after getting dinged up Saturday and then standing on his head a couple times in the first half of the first period.

This team will alternate quickly between frustrating and exciting. The general look was disorganized and sloppy. Some of that is the number of new faces. Even with the win, it was the kind of showing that can start the coaching countdown clock if it happens again Saturday. Definitely not sustainable.

On the up side, Strome, Terry, McT, Z, Henrique, Vatrano looked like a competitive top 6. And this year's team won't be out of games just because they fall behind by a goal or two.

Terry ... what hands.

That line of McT / RS and Terry is going to be a monster.

Put Comtois up with Z and Frankie..

Fire Silf and Lundy into the pacific.

His body language looked like it was saying he was exhausted with the team in front of him already, game 1.

Christ guys, it's one game! Every defenseman was playing with someone new. You don't figure out each other that quickly. While I know this team won't be a defensive juggernaut, they'll get better. Besides, this team can score! Think back to a few years ago when nobody on the team could score to save their life. If they're going to lose, I'd rather watch a 5-4 loss than a 1-0 one any day.

That is what camp is for..

and my beer league squad would've been better than that 3rd pair.. New partner or not that was horrid, all night... new partner or not .. no fundamentals at all...

if that is going to be the 3rd pair .. Give me Benoit and baby Z. All day over that.

Yeah we can score...

Please! are you kidding me???? NO ONE plays up to pace at camp except for the rookies trying to make an impression. If the same sh!t is happening after 10-15 games, then you'll have a point. Although I can't argue about Shattenkirk. He is done.
