Homer Simpson's team controlled the play last game, they deserved the win. Laval had their chance to win it at the end with Martel missing a perfect setup. |

Are you implying people might get influenced by the dozens of articles popping out in the last few weeks saying it could be Slaf after all?

of course not, anyone who gives their opinion on the matter has obviously followed these players closely to form their own conclusions, why would they just rehash what others say?

The BPA in this draft is a centre. Montreal has the 1st overall. Montreal also needs to get better at center.
Any talk of taking anyone but Wright is just to generate buzz, because people hate when a guy is a lock for 1 for too long. |

journalist need to produce material every day/week, it's their job to create a buzz around a pick, controversy sells, it's their job to generate discussions, they need readership.
Habs have scouted both players and I am still convinced they will pick Wright. |

indeed, especially when it comes to sports journalists, and I don't blame them at all for doing so.

When you miss that kind of opportunity in playoff overtime, you don’t deserve to win…
Meilleure chance l prochaine fois!

I am good with one or the other…
I have a preference for Wright but I am good with the Slovak…
I trust Habs making the right selection and if they miss, as usual, we will forget how this was not an easy decision and we ask for the firing in 2028!!!!
You know this is kind of job you never win… |

I'm not sure "I swear nothing happened" is going to cut it.
I'm not gonna shame him though, come on, mid twenties, best hockey player in the world.
Have your fun.

I mentioned that earlier in other posts but that idea of trying to develop the « defensive » skill commonly called « 2 way Center » st Junior’s level is just a stupidity as the kids of that talent should only focus on filling the net…
So that’s why Wright is my choice as I think his potential was never fully developed because of bad coaching…
Saint-Louis will be able to bring that kid to another level… |

learning about defensive responsibilities at a young age to become a 2-way center isn't stupid, and isn't a result of bad coaching.
