I don't think Barron or Harris will play 82 games next season (if they make the team), so it's a good thing to have a vet for depth.

Yes, at that price, not a big risk there.

In other news, Ek is saying that mtl should-could draft Jack Hughes with their late first round pick (from CGY). Is he even supposed to go out in the first round?

he was originally a potential late 1st round BUT the latest lists that came out saw him drop, actually the biggest drop of any player in the top 60. He is now listed as a potential 2nd round pick

Harris is a lefty. On the right side, the Habs are very thin...

It's a shame that Barron got hurt when that stupid Senators player collided into him. He would be playing in the Eastern Conference final with the Laval Rocket right now.

He's one of the fittest players in the draft, one of the oldest and a legacy guy. He's an easy 20-30 pick. Especially a team who needs a guy who can be a 3rd liner sooner than later.

He's on the official Scabeh's wishlist for our late first round pick. Guess people noticed his speed at the combine? Finally?

Luneau dropping from 10 to 24 despite being much better in the 2nd half of the year is weird to me.

might be able to draft him in the 2nd round now? I know there were some questions about his knee, he's had issues with it since he was 12 I saw.

X to doubt. A contending team with a late first will pick him because he can walk into the NHL in a year. Not the best ceiling, but he's definitely got NHLer written all over him. Kind of like Tyler Biggs.....................................

Excel is life.
