Ben Shelley: Ducks sign Josh Lopina

Ducks' top 4 young centers, Z, McTavish, Lundestrom and Groulx are all left shots. Lopina might be the top right shot C prospect in the organization at this point, which could get him a foot in the door, or at least a longer look, especially if he develops strong face-off skills. It will be tough to crack that top 4, but also no guarantee that all 4 of those guys will still be around after this offseason.

Sounds like a perfect second or third liner… love how Verbeek getting these kids signed …
