Koskinen, Koekkoek and Kukan would be amusing to hear commentators mess up |

Why are you still collecting a pay check righting about this team? Just quit already.. you're the most toxic writer (Fan) i've ever had the displeasure to endure... seriously it's painful. If i wanted to hear every time i read an "Oiler Blog" about how this team is garbage, management is garbage, players.. coaches.. bla bla bla. Guess what I'D GO READ THE LEAFS OR FLAMERS BLOGS!!! |

Yeah, Oilers threw in the towel months ago. Holland's high income lifestyle is safe no matter what he does(including doing nothing). A few good games of Koskinen is enough to forget years of substandard goaltending. Paint the Oilers' motto right at center ice: MAYBE NEXT YEAR!
McDavid has just as much chance at a cup if he stays home next year and never touches his skates. |

Soucy or Braun (or even Chara) would be good depth adds, but I hope they don't give up much more than a 3rd. This team isn't a contender, so best I think we can hope for is an extra round of playoffs (assuming we even get there). Why waste assets at this point?
Hard pass on any of the other roomers re: forwards, like Kubalik. |

But you got Evander Kane so who cares about goaltending. |

Considering the cost, adding Kane was a no-brainer. There is no way to fix the goalie mess made last summer, all the available options out there suck worse than what we have. |

No one and I mean literally no one is worse than Smith. But I agree with the premise that the options available don't seem worth the price. I would've paid for Kahkonen but maybe the Wild didn't want to send him to a possible playoff rival. |

i was hoping we would have gotten Kahkonen last year, and when MAF was traded i was hoping again we could get him. Not sure who we end up getting if any, but feels like anyone who we might end up with is more likely to be a a decent 1b option vs a potential starter. He would have been an decent option cost wise with potential.

Sorry my writing isn't for you. I am not a fan of the team, I am a writer. I call the shots as I see them, both the good and the bad. If you want to read about how the Oilers are contenders and everything is sunshine and roses I suggest you read whatever Staples, Leavins, and Matheson talk about. |

Braun only cost the Rags a 3rd, hope that Kulak wasn't anything more than a 4th. |

If its a second its WAY too much for a third pairing LD. I mean we have tons of third pairing LDs. He would work this year but I don't think they would even want to resign him in the summer. So it is a second for a rental when we don't even have a starting goalie. I wouldn't have given more than a 4th for him. Especially if the pick is for 2023. |

I thought TSN had the trade on their tracker, listed as return TBA, but it appears to have disappeared.
Must have been one of those deals Ek was talking about, where the league had to step in. Holland was offering up the 1st and a top prospect, as he heard D were moving at a premium. Buttman had to veto it. |

For Lagesson, I guess. Pretty lateral move. Don't see how it improves anything. Costs us cap, as Kulak is over double Legs salary. |

Oilers need more of a shutdown guy. I don't know how much more this moves the needle though haha. |

That's what they are reporting now. A typical brutal Holland move, if that is the case. |
