Hains: About Mathieu Darche
Unlike the last two candidates I discussed, we know that Mathieu Darche aspires to be a GM in the NHL, the questions are though: is he ready and would he want to take the plunge in Montreal?

Excellent as always, Karine. I must admit I'm hoping for D'arche. He has the brains, humility, and most importantly, a real clue as to what media pressure in Montreal is actually like.

tks Karine. he would walk home if needed. a chance to be gm? in his home town? for the most prestigious hockey team in the world? (feels odd to write this but hey, that is still true)
Nothing like a system where 120+ must prove why they should be in the top 4, and 1 (Alabama) has to play their way out of the top 4.
Sure, they're the best team, but before the sec championship, the discussion was "could a 2 loss Bama make the cfb?" Rigged system - mr.peanut
It isn't exactly rigged but I get your point. It's the old hockey prospect argument - bama is a 6'5" C who needs to prove they can't - 119 teams are 5'7" wingers who need to prove they can. Bama makes it a lot less fun - parity actually makes sports a lot more enjoyable.
I'm just happy Michigan lost because I'm still sensitive about Harbaugh's 49ers divorce.

Yeah I think he would too, and I won't be upset if they pick him. I would prefer Marc Denis, but that might just be because I feel like I know him more lol...got to trust the people really in the know who actually get to interview these guys

imo it will come down to who Gorton feels he can have the best relationship with, so yes whoever, they're all good candidates.

Time will tell! - Darksyde

Yup highly likely to be the deciding factor. Looking forward to seeing a) who it is and b) what happens next - Karine Hains
Yeah, will be interesting to see if they are more active sooner or wait til the deadline... I just suspect with the way the Covid is going, sooner might be better than later (if your guys are healthy now).
