That's an awesome story about Sakic and Hull, never heard that one before. I have two A and B favorite memories of Joe, the first being his fight with Doug Gilmour and the second being the penalty shot goal against St. Louis in 2001.

I have heard about the Sean Avery trying to chirp Joe Sakic before, just shows as you said how much Joe was respected around the league even from Red Wings at that time.
