Really like the name and colors. Hope the fans get behind ownership and GM Ron Francis and build a first rate organization like they did in Vegas. Any idea when the expansion draft will take place?

I’m good with the name but the logo is unimpressive. The S looks like the Seattle Mariners logo. Just too plain, needs a bit more creativity

I like it! The league has needed a new navy blue jersey since the Oilers and Canucks went away from theirs and the lighter shades of blue and the hint of red aren't all bad (though, not perfect like green and gold would've been). Looking forward to seeing the final product!

For the longest part of the process I didn’t like the idea of kraken being a team name but I guess some of the other options they had weren’t great either.

It’s funny though, I now don’t mind their name but I think they whiffed on the logo and jersey. Not that I would consider them bad but they went with a completely out there name but played it safe when it came to those. Like at least throw a trident in there or something

Since they are playing in Climate Pledge Arena, maybe they should have been called the Seattle Globalists!!

My favorite among the choices was Sea Lions. It was farther down on the list, though, and I knew they were not going to pick it. I don't like Kraken. That is also a mythical monster of the North Atlantic - not of the North Pacific.

I like the logo wit the dark tentacle having the suckers on it and the red eye under the top lip of the S. I like the colors. I think their alternate jersey will end up having a fully fledged bad a$$ kraken on it...or at least it should...

Goaltending situation will likely be resolved by then and the defensemen are obvious, so they'll lose a forward.

Crosby, Malkin, Guentzel and Zucker are locks. Rust and McCann probable (Rust isn't a lock IMO because he'd be a year from free agency and a pricy extension at age 30). After one more forward it will be the likes of Hornqvist, Blueger, Tanev, ZAR, JJ, DeSmith.
