Sorry to hears about Michael's cancer. I'm a survivor and have lost my dad and niece, aunt and uncle to this hideous disease. AS an aside, no such thing as a former Marine!
It's so great to see what EVERYONE did to honor this man.

It's kind of crazy though because I've read and heard that he used to participate in hazing and those kinds of things. Now he's suing because he endured it.

Edit: I do realize that this makes it better for players going forward, it's just strange to me that he's like the face of it.

Carcillo has gone bat guano nuts. I think maybe he's having financial issues and will do and say anything for money. Not sure what his deal is. He was having a Twitter fight with BizNasty from Spittin Chiclets a little while ago. Biz was giving him sheet for crying about the very things that Carcillo was very guilty of himself.

That's my problem with him. It's hard to get past the hypocrisy. I don't know, it is possible he's changed. But I wonder if his career lasted a little longer, would he still be fighting for some of these causes?

Carcillo fully admits that he has suffered mental/cognitive issues as a result.

Doesn't make the (apparently corroborated) events he mentions untrue.

MB... I don't think any of it is true. It sounds completely made up. Did Carcillo get hazed? Probably. Almost all rookies do. But did they make them do the stuff cited in the complaint? I doubt it. Put yourself in the place of the vets doing the hazing... do you think you'd have any desire to see a rookie put a hockey stick where the sun don't shine, or other stuff cited? No friggin way. And if there was one vet that wanted it, he'd get the snot beat out of him.

The allegations are so absurd that they simply can't be believed. There is simply no way any of that could go on and NOT be made public at the time it was happening. Did he get icy hot in his jock? Maybe. Did they put scotch tape on his blades? Maybe. Did they put a snake in his bag? Maybe. Did they put hockey sticks and food up his bum? No friggin way. Carcillo is a joke.

The kind of people that do such things do exist, but they're the kind of individual scumbags that do things like this alone, many times unfortunately to children. We then read about them in the news when the cops arrest them. An entire team of hockey players jointly acting like psychos doesn't pass the smell test. Remember the Juicy Smollett hoax?

Bleacher report saying Tampa Bay had to temporarily close facilities due to multiple players and staff testing positive.

I sure hope those allegations aren't true. Pretty sick stuff. But I also hope Carcillo wouldn't lie about something like that. I tend to believe the victim but will withhold judgment until fully investigated.

On another note Phillies are shutting down spring training after multiple positive covid tests in Florida.
