I would be fine with Ruhwedel having a consistent spot on the bottom pairing. He’s never played horrible in my opinion. Grit, I don’t think we need to trade for it but for the love of god. Crosby, Malkin and Letang don’t need to be the first ones flying into a scrum.

Yeah I have a herniation from C2-3 through T1 and it's not fun...but I think Letang's was significantly worse (his was fused I believe a few years ago), so any further injury there is really scary. I'm concerned for his wellbeing outside of hockey at this point.

I don't even know why teams bother practicing on the trade deadline. How many awkward moments where players get taken off the ice because they're traded?

Pens were in big time on Montour... I can tell you 100% either the Pens last offer or very close to the last offer the Pens offered a 1st and Jarry for Montour. Obviously the ducks wanted the other package.

Just read TIOPS and none of it is good. Everyone here would basically vomit at all the names of interest on defense and the reason the Pens haven't been able to acquire any of these rental forward is because they don't have a 2nd this or next year. Teams are inquiring about Simon.

I think we all need to buckle up and realize this is either going to be quiet or ugly, probably nothing good.
