It was great to see Jones and Terry up, although I wish RC put them with a more offensive center than Grant (even though he isn't totally bereft of offensive ability). I wonder if they put Shore as the pivot for that line if they'd have a bit more spark. That would allow Sprong, Getzy, and Rakell to gel on that first line. IDK if Grant has the speed to play with those kids. |

Good thing they played (ar least at the beginning) against a goalie clearly off his game. The next two periods were all Wild. Once again terribly outshot it was Gibson who bailed them out. Not a recipe for success. They keep playing that way they will enjoy another long streak on their way to the NHL basement. |

Yeah the kids were fun... Jones has some real wheels and TT looks much more comfortable. I have to think with all the youth available this roster is going to look completely different next year. Kase / NR / already regulars and young.... along with Jones / Steel / Lundestrom/ Welinski
Comtois /TT / Mahura all should be in Anaheim at some point next yr.
on to Jersey keep it going guys. |

Although technically correct, a lot of those were trash shots. And score effect. |

Eakins will be the coach next year imo. All the kids you mentioned were/are coached by him. The Athletic had an article stating the same, also speculating Carlyle will remain with the team as a scout. Seems like a logical transition for the team. With the change, also think new assistant coaches will be coming in too (our PP and PK just aren't cutting it). |

Eakins didn't really coach a NHL team in Edmonton. Give the guy a shot. |

Yeah cogs was the only regular player shipped out, but kes and silf were also out of the lineup. Maybe played a huge role |
