Thanks for the nice holiday read as we await the season to continue. Keep up the coverage into the new year with playoffs down the road and another strong showing. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year too.

He actually made quite a few good plays in the neutral zone since his call up. It's obviously not his strong suit, but playing with Stastny and Tuch alleviates that weakness in him.

Everybody harps on his lack of defensive skill. But as flat as Vegas has been much of the season, I'll take a guy with an obvious nose for the net. Defense in general has been spotty and often non-existent. Just ask Fleury. So yeah, give me a guy who can score, defense or not.
