Armia was an interesting pick in that the Sabres saw very little of him play live overseas. But a "friend of a friend" recommended they take a long look at him and sent along a video package.
Wow, never heard that.
Also: Armia, Pysyk and White are all in the division. THIS IS NOT A DRILL |

that was from my old blog...gotta remember that they had miniscule, if any, overseas presence back then...the team was just coming out of the Golisano, "just break even" era...

that wasn't the intention, but it's safe to say that he's learned a little bit since taking over |

I'm ready for another year of disappointment..
But the growth will see from the rookies will be fun to watch and to see how jack handles the pressure of being Captain should be fun

Golisano’s reign of terror included two trips to the conference finals. Pegs hasn’t seen his team make the playoffs yet. I think folks crap on Tommy G too much. |

When you have a general manager that has no clue what he's doing that happens
If we had Darcy instead of Tim Murray what would the team be |

It was. Let's be real though, the teardown was Darcy's idea. He was probably also the level head we needed to see it through, but I will admit, I was at one of his final games chanting "daaaaaaarcccyyyyyyyyyy" |

If TM is to be held accountable for his decisions, then do should Terry. |

Darcy got lucky with the “New” NHL.
Things fell apart the moment he had to start handing out contracts. Keeping Max, Pee Pee Boy, and Kotalik on three year deals but letting JP walk.
Not negotiating in season for extensions.
Darcy and Quinn coming out and saying any offer sheet will be matched for Vanek.
Needing to keep the team in the black.
These are just some of the bad from Tommy and co.
I’m thankful Tommy saved the franchise.
Other than that (frank) Tommy and Larry the lapdog.....twice. |

According to Andrew Peters and Biron, keeping Max was all Golisano. Afinogenov was his favorite player |

For all the “Do something, Darcy” crap I’ve given him, homeboy didn’t lose trades. Wonder what he would’ve got for ROR and Kaner. |

Well, the criticism of Botts for Kane was that he sat on his hands all year and ended up with less at the deadline. That sounds like Darcy.
I think the return for O’Reilly is as good as anyone should have expected with his contract |

Feb 18th 2011 Peggy took over.
I count the 10/11 season as a Tommy playoff team. |

The team was also well out of the race at that point. When Pegula took over, the team went on an amazing run. |

Was that a real, verified offer? Holy. Although, I can’t imagine the Sabres fan base approving of Tyler’s frat boy lifestyle, no matter how many points he produced. |
