We have some guys that need some NHL time like Klimchuk & Magpie & even Foo should get some prime time. We have lots of depth young guys who maybe just maybe might turn into something more than replacement level.
Tre needs to get a home run done.

I would love to see what Buffalo does with Lehner. A restricted FA which means to qualify him they have to offer him another $4.0 mill per & I dont see that happening & the reason why no one will trade for him. So if Buff doesnt qualify him, I would love to bring him in to see how he works with Smith at half that cost.

I have to agree, let's promote from within unless it's a no brainer. Tre needs to land a top 6 player. Would hope that Peters would play Bennett on the top line for 20+ games before they decide to ship him out. We're all waiting for that breakout season but maybe he's just a bottom 6.

I mean I'd rather be the team getting Panarin out of the deal and I'm pretty sure Kessel's no-trade list has Calgary on it. Only thing with Panarin is trying to get him to sign an extension with us, because if he doesn't he's pretty much just a rental.

Because of him being a rental is why I suggest us trying to attract Kessel over Panarin. As for Kessel not wanting to play here, I have never seen a legit source suggesting this. If anything his dad did play for the Stampeders maybe he would welcome the trade.

Lindholm talks not going well in Carolina, hanifin has been on the block awhile it seems, and also likely they move Skinner and or Fall.

Hamilton rumoured as apparently Tre and Carolina GM talked a couple of weeks ago about Lindholm.
