I thought Toronto would have beaten Tampa, but I think Tampa takes down NJ in 7 tight games. I can't wait to see Artemi Panarin (CBJ's Co-MVP with Seth Jones this year) lead the Jackets over the Capitals so Stan Bowman can SHOVE IT. Literally makes me want to vomit thinking about trading Panarin (83 points) for Saad (35 points) because "Panarin isn't a playoff player". What a (frank)ing joke. |

Yes, Panarin has been a blessing. It's worth the price of admission just to watch him. I think he really likes it here in Cbus as well so Jarmo needs to back up the money truck and get him signed. |

Apparently Tarasenko begged the Blues GM for years to sign the kid to an entry level contract years earlier and they wouldn't. Now, 243 games played, 233 points..... Blues deserved to miss playoffs for that alone. |

Not sure if that would count as an upset but...
I think the Kings are getting past the Golden Knights. |

I actually think the biggest upset could be Philly beating the Pens... That's saying something from me I have Malkin and Letang in my hockey pool.
But the way they know how to get under the star players skin I think could leave the Pens with a first round exit |

Alot if things are not going right for tampa, but losing Namestikov is not the reason. We added Miller who has been a beast for us. |

I think goaltending says it all: who plays in Jersey? Can Kinkaid bring it home? Can Murray rebound from his subpar regular season? Can Brian Elliott handle the pressure? Do Andersen and Vas rebound? I think goaltending is a concern out east |

Philly could go a long way if they ever got consistent goaltending. Not sure I've seen any since the Lindberg era. Well, a small dose maybe. |

Philly has a team with lots of skill but they also get under your skin if you an an opposing team.
As weird as it may be I feel like Philly and Washington are the underdogs this year in the East |

It was quite the head-shaker.
Miller... 18 points in 19 games since being acquired.
Namy was kind of a throw-in to make the deal whole. You guys got some good prospects, some picks and get a chance to see if you want to resign Namy (if it's for more than 2.5m/yr...don't. What you saw is what he is). |

Yup...I don't see him being resigned for any more than that. Anyone w/ some skill will do excellent playing w/ Kuch and Samkos!
