Justin Lowe: Anton, Can You Save Us?
The Hawks enter the 2nd game of a home-and-home series vs. the Stars.
Dallas took a 4-3 OT win on Thursday so the Blackhawks will be looking for revenge on the road.
This will be game #1 without Corey Crawford as well.
Go Anton Forsberg! |

I think the injury cost Crawford all four goals that he gave up - on the first, he was way past his right post, had nothing to push off of to get beck (and maybe couldn’t push off anyways); on the PS, he seemed to just stand there, not knowing what to do; and on 3 and 4, he uncharacteristiclly bit on early moves, was out of position when the Star came back right.
I think he very possibly gets all four if his movement wasn’t limited. |

If he was injured in the game, why did he play the rest of the night??? Come on Corey, your pride isn't worth playing on an injury.... |

Very possible.
I guess I was more caught up on how poorly the team played in front of him for the majority of the game. Didn't want to put the blame on Corey.

Losing Crawford is a big blow. Q saying "at least three games" but groin injuries are not easy to heal. At a busy time in the schedule and the team playing better than a few weeks ago, will they come together and rally or will they get discouraged? |

Isn't that on the guys behind the bench??? If i'm one of those guys and see him laboring like that, i get him outta there. At least get him looked at, he can always go back in. It was obvious he was struggling physically. Again, i put that on the coaches, specifically Q. He has last call, does he not?? |

That thought entered my mind. You could tell he was off all night. |

If forsberg and berbua cannot save the day then where do the go from there. Don't rush crow back groin injury is tricking and if they knew it was a nagging injury and was not getting better then why was crow playing. I know its still early but is time to worrying that the hawks might miss the playoffs and if that happen then major changes need to happen including firing bowmans and Q. Possible rebulid. |

I can't wait for a few more no look passes especially on the power play😭 |

I agree with you, Crawford was not his usual self. On the penalty kill he just did not move at all. He was trying his best pain and all. You can't rush this kind of injury . |

Q and the hawks have not and never will confirm that its his groin...pure speculation on our part. It could be something else; adominal, hip flexor, hamstring..
3 games is only a week and suggests it is not a groin....those can be very bad for goalies just ask carey price...

What does everyone think of Patrick Maroon? If i remember, he can be difficult to play against, might be able to get him for pokka or something like that. |

I seem to remember Kane campaigning for StanBo to sign Lucic in '16. |

Lucic and Neal are two guys I hate to play against but would love to have watching Kane's back. |
