I'm really liking the look of all the west's matchups this year. The next few weeks are gonna be a beauty ladies and gents. 1st round is always the best round.

Tanner says the Ducks are over-rated so all those fancy numbers you posted mean NOTHING! Calgary by forfeit. Ducks read the Tanner article and realize they have no f*cking chance.

I think Chicago wins, but I agree with the rest. Not sure about Minny with the way they were playing down the stretch, but I'll still go with them.

Nashville and Chicago both did not play well down the stretch. I just think their defense shines in the playoffs.

@ the Ducks fan complaining about Tanner.

It's Tanner. Why do you take him more seriously than he takes himself?

The Hawks went something like 20-5-3 over a 2 month span up until the final 4 games of the season when they officially clinched 1st and decided to rest multiple key players. Went 0-2-2 in those 4 meaningless games. Hardly a team that "didn't play well down the stretch." More like a team that went on a tear, won home ice, and then decided to save it for the playoffs.

Um... I don't, which is why I came up with the forfeit scenario. Congrats on making it to the second round!

Agree, Corey Crawford looked disinterested in the Anaheim game without half of the Hawks blue line playing. Even so, Panarin and Kane played really well, Gibson was just great that game. The Hawks also had the decency to let the Kings win Bob Miller's last game. If Anisimov returns the Hawks will be dangerous.

Well, I haven't been able to watch many of the games this year due to my new timezone, but today starts a personal run of staying up until 5 am every other night. (frank) school! Lets go Pens!

Your Hocks analysis is superficial. Look at the PK for the latter 60 games of the season. Corsi is so 2014. Flipped a coin?! (frank) the Mustard Tigers, let's go Hocks!

I think Edmonton is going to send the Sharks to the bottom of the ocean. I like Chicago in their series. On paper Minny should handle St Louis but as we all know they sucked down the stretch. Lastly, as much as I would like to say Calgary will pull it off, I'm unsure they have what it takes to get by the ducks.

This is by far the longest* day of the year....every year**....

*figuratively speaking...nip that one in the bud before the anal retentive people come spouting about summer solstice or some sh!t.

Wow... first Nashville prediction I've seen.

Can't see them going on though... as we all know Goaltending is key in the playoffs; and Rinne is a little too unpredictable, imho

I have tried so many wines over the years, and I have to say.. I just don't get it. I have yet to have a wine that tasted good to me. Like.. sangria would be the closest but even then, I really care for that.

He's been practicing, expected to start game 1 in his usual spot between Kane and Panarin.

It's going to be a close series that goes 6-7 games, but it's really gonna kill the Preds having to play games 5 and 7 in Chicago. The Hawks always play better towards the end of a series, and I simply don't see them losing a game 7 at home. I think as long as they split the first 4 the series will be next to impossible for the Preds to win.
