I'm interested to see what the org does when they are officially, mathematically eliminated instead of statistically, for all practical purposes eliminated.

I too believed in the playoffs. I was taught as a young child that you have to have faith. If it doesn't work does that make me an atheist?

Obviously the Isles are much better at sucking than we are.

That was one of, if not the best first 10 minutes in a game that the Flyers have had in a very long time.

What does everyone think about V. Filppula? Are we keeping him next year? Are you guys happy with the trade?

I was arguing with a friend of mine at the time of the trade that its a no lose trade. Since we have plenty of cap room now if he stinks its a one year deal and its over. However, if he ends up being good then its a huge win.

No lose trade really. Because of his age and current state of the team I expect him to be dealt at the deadline next year unless we're somehow a lock for the playoffs. I certainly wouldn't buy him out or anything though.

I'm interested in what this team will look like next season. We could potentially have 1/3 of the team turn-over. We should move on from Lubimov, Del Zotto, Schultz, Mason, and Vandevelde. And I would like someone to take Read off our hands. And I am assuming Raffl will be taken in the draft.

Then we need to try and find a decent LW.

With all the goalies available it would be a darn shame if we cant get better. Fluery, Bishop, Crawford, Howard.... anyone that might just give us consistency until Hart or Stolarz are ready.

No crazy S% either besides Weise. Schenn and Coots are both near 13%...Weise at 19%

I guess you're not believing the hype that the organization is touting Hagg as NHL ready.

If any of the young defenseman make the team, I don't want them there to platoon with anyone. They're there to play.

Konecny is not a 4th line player next year. If he is a 4th line player our future is not as bright as I once hoped.
