He have been solid lately but not his best game against the Sabres.

I was grossed out when they traded for him, horrified when they signed him, delighted when they waived him, understanding when they promoted him due to injury, frustrated when they anchored him with Ghost, infuriated when they anchored him to Provorov and gave him top pair minutes. 13/23 of the last ES goals have been on his watch. Plenty of PK goals too.

Been done with 47 for a long time.

Last night was ugly.

Really not liking the makeup of this roster right now. I feel like there are too many redundant players just at different skill levels

Agree with drag. This slump has been going on for too long. I'd rather see the young guys at this point. It worked for Pitt last year. Disclaimer: I'm not saying we'll be a cup contender

I don't think it's that easy.

I want Morin and leier playing meaningful games.

For me I would try to reshape the NHL roster and prepare for next season and the year after for when the team should start seeing the benefits of some drafts and start becoming not just a bubble team but an actual playoff team.

done a long time ago. My biggest question..what contribution has Weise made all season? He backs off in front of the net and peels back instead of delivering hits. I thought that was the grittiness we were supposed to be getting. So far I havent seen anything of value.

It's very interesting how things work. I understand people don't like his contract, neither do I. He had a rough year last year, and was sent to the AHL. Then he was recalled and played well and helped the Flyers get into the playoffs, when they had some key injuries to players such as Del Zotto. This season, he's had a few stretches where he didn't play well, and he had a sub par game last night, but overall, he's played well. The first post of the thread is "anyone done with 47 yet? Pretty funny.

How many of those 13 ES goals scored were MacDonald's fault? Was anyone else on the ice? Were those goals scored on any other players watch?

Im starting to fall off the Hak-wagon.. Constantly shuffling lines, treating NHLers like theyre NCAA kids healthy scratching players to try and teach them a lesson is getting old. Weise should not be with Simmonds/Schenn. Could have used a timeout after the 2nd Buffalo goal. Also seemed like Ghost is trying to do too much by himself and then easily checked off the puck or he takes an easily track able shot. Frustrating game to be at

I am hugely disappointed in him. I thought we were getting a little faster, better scoring Ryan White style player.

He almost looks like a guy who doesn't want to really play his role and wants to be a scorer now. If you get what I mean

Well I think mcdud will be playing until he reaches the min game requirments for the entry draft. I am a little surprised they haven't traded Shultz yet, maybe closer to the deadline. Everybody looks for a cheap vet dman for the playoffs. To me this team is just too soft as well. Weiss isn't bringing what he should and now I really regret letting ryan white walk for a mil and signing Weiss. I knew that would bite us in the butt. If I were to call anybody up it would be Morin. He can skate and is a nasty sob. Something that is needed I think. Gudas does a good job but Morin would just bring different elements. Bring him up for 10 games or so and see how he does. You never know he may surprise everybody. On the forward group I think the only improvement would be a trade. Nothing in the ahl will bring impact. Our forward group is still weak in ahl, nhl caliber wise. I still stand by my opinion of wanting e kane. Hes prolly the only player meeting the scoring, grit, and speed aspect that we can get on the cheap. I just think as well that hextall still and will still continue to look for options but he isn't trading away youth or picks for anything at this point and possibly not this season. Still building through the draft seems to be the mo. But we cant wait too much longer...two years or more to put this together. G isn't getting younger along with some other elite talent we have on the forward lines.

I do and I agree. I'm sorry but he just hasnt brought ANYTHING to the table in any game that I can remember this season. If he wants to be a "scorer" now, he hasnt done any of that either...so

Id rather see an extended look of the young guys to see what they have one way or the other as opposed to watching Weise one more shift.

Ha ha. I get your point. Its a shame we don't have anybody in the minors that has size and uses it. Otherwise Id be on board with this. However, he is useless and maybe just throwing another 5ft 8 speedster on the roster will help slightly till he gets killed.

Just going to have to wait. It's a bubble team and we all knew it. This team when the power play goes cold, or their not working hard enough to draw penalties like last night, will go cold with it.

Morin doesn't appear to be ready from what I saw of him recently, a player like him isn't going to move the needle much anyway. Sanheim is looking good and when he comes up will be a dynamic option.

I know this is unpopular but I almost wonder if he would be better as a trade piece. I look at the deal the rangers made in moving Brassard for Zibanejad and and a 2nd and wonder if that would be a solid deal for the Flyers.

Lol... he has been fine, aside from being for the most part, terrible pretty much anytime he is on the ice.

I love the "he gets 20 minutes a night so he is a top 4 nhl d-man who could get picked up by LV in the draft" argument.

I would almost just bring laughton up. The Phantoms were playing well without him. Bring him up. He adds some speed. Maybe it's sink or swim time for him

Im in the opinion that if your going to move him you better get something dang good back in return. if it gets me a good young left winger and center exempt from the entry draft I would consider it. they don't have to be leite talent or potential just good players but that entry draft is going to strangle the trade market this year.
