It's funny you bring up the whole idea that the last game was like the beginning of last season, because the beginning of this session seems to mimic the Habs' start to last season: All lines producing goals, racking up wins... Makes me nervous, considering how the last season went for the Habs.
I'm like Gallagher, though... I'm taking nothing for granted, I know how quickly this can all fall away. Our teams bring out the best (and worst) of each other, and that's what makes it fun.
See you guys in a couple of weeks. |

6-3 full minute powerplay and the Bruins are taking slappers from the point (Chara put it high off the glass...) this Bruins team is pretty much the exact same team as last year only difference is Backes and the defense has shown some semblance of not being "god-awful" more "mediocre-to-bad".
If the B's are going to be bad, can we at least be entertaining? |

turnovers killed them. Gross turnovers from both Krejci and Hayes. Krejci needs to be better. Hayes needs some time on the 9th floor. |

Anton has looked leaky... I thought he would be a better back up then what they've had in previous seasons. But I fear this is another season where Rask will be doing some heavy lifting, yet again, because the B's can't find a reliable backup. With an aggravating injury to start the season, this doesn't look good. |

This. I was amazed to see how many people immediately called out Dobby, especially when a turnover at the blueline led to a breakaway, and a giveaway in the defensive zone each led to one goal. Those mistakes don't happen, those two chances are not there. |

anyone want to explain how the bruins ended up shorthanded during that minuscule scrum with moore and emelin? I guess the bruins are still carrying around the big bad bruins reputation with referees who try to end things before they begin. |

Aside from the meh officiating that night, Moore came in and threw his shoulder/elbow at Emelin to start the whole thing, right in front of the ref. Guessing the fact that Emelin responded and they kept going is what got Moore the extra 2. At least that's what I remember seeing. |

Lots of empty B's jerseys out there just kind of going through the motions. |

Krejci has been downright awful, a bit worrisome for me. |

He wasn't on the ice today, and then Anton was hurt early in practice, so they may have to say the hell with resting Rask and have him out there on Tuesday. Or they could go with a Subban-McIntyre combo. |
