Yeah, there's two weeks of speculation ahead (with bluster and bullpoop from some unnamed people who somehow have a banner column...), but tbh I don't see what all the fuss is for. His main selling point is that he is essentially a free asset, but I don't think there's a single report out there (aside from the aforementioned "Board Trolldemort") that projects Vesey as being any more than a 2/3LW at absolute most.

I dont get the whole Vesey situation. If i were his agent id ask permission to speak to all the interested partys then either sign with buffalo or request a trade to the team he is interested in signing with. What does buffalo gain with Vesey waiting until the 15th.

I'm just glad this blog was based on info from 2 of the worst in the business in Haggerty and Dater.

Because I think Buffalo is very much in the hunt and Vesey is waiting until the 15th because he wants to hear everyone's sales pitch and doesn't have a definite team in mind that he's all but for sure going to unless someone else makes an incredible pitch. These extra two weeks of being able to whisper in his ear if they still have a good shot at him, which I think they do, is pretty advantageous. When the 15th rolls around he'll have weeks of dialogue, pitches, and a solid relationship with Buffalo where as other teams will have to start from the top. If Vesey is dead set on making his decision on the 15th, other teams will only have a couple hours to accomplish what Buffalo's had weeks to do.

Well, they have no choice. He's said he wants to wait until he's ufa which is why Buffalo trading for him in the first place was dumb.

They're rolling in tandem, just how they did on Wednesdays before. I assume that Lucas will post in the AM, and then MiB will follow up around late afternoon/evening

Initially, yes he will. However if he chooses a team where there are significant openings ahead of him, then he has a chance to show off what he can do in the hopes of a better pay-cheque in the future.
