Nothing you can do about the blown call, no sense in talking about it anymore. It's the playoffs... If you thought we were only going to lose 1 game in each series you're an idiot.

Crosscheck slew foot fail... - BeastModeS62
Sounds like your 1st date check list! but seriously, you don't really see a slew foot there do you? I think you're just trolling Hawks fans and their phantom slew foots...
He was pushed, and there was a cross check, but it happens about 5-7 feet away from Rinne (check the 6 second mark in the video). Pavs is heading right into Rinne who is at the side of the net and Weber's trip(?) gets Pavs back leg, not his front one which goes to serve my point that he was ramming Rinne no matter what (18-20 second mark on the video)... |

As an outsider, with zero skin in the game, this series has been extremely entertaining. |

No one is talking about this...
With 5 mins to go in the game and the sharks up 3-2 Thornton makes some goofy sick handling play at the red line instead of banging the puck deep. Because of this the Preds get possession and get into the the Sharks zone. A few seconds we later Martin regains control of the puck near the blue line though still in our defensive zone. He makes a weak backhand attempt to get out of the zone though he had time to make a stronger play. Instead that weak backhand was a turnover and the Preds have possession in our D zone. A few seconds later James Neal ties the game. These two mistakes followed by the game tying goal against took place in less than 30 seconds.
Just saying, with a 1 goal lead and 5 mins left in the game, I expect our veterans to make smarter and stronger plays. |

Regardless of blown calls or not, this has been a great series and that was an unreal hockey game. Both teams gave it everything they had. Major props to both sides. |

Quick q, why wasn't that high stick on Martin a double-minor? I understand it's OT, but that's a black and white call, he was clearly bleeding. |

I cant recall that situation, but Martin deserves MAJOR props for the heads-up veteran play to wait for Ward to touch up before he goes after the puck leading the Donskey goal to go up. To have the presence of mind to do the pick pocket work and send it back into the zone and sit for 1.5 seconds to wait for a teammate while the puck is just sitting there tantalizingly close and then getting after it and making the play... that was a great call by the linesman and an overall great play. Ward almost (frank)ed it all up by skating lazily to clear the zone...

Agreed, can't be making mistakes like that if we expect to have any success

I think because he already had a cut there and it just opened a previous cut? |

There was the briefest of mentions during broadcast that the cut on Martins nose was from a previous hit.
I sent my son a text 10 minutes in to the game to buckle up because it was going to be a crazy one. I don't know that you'll see a better one than that one. Fisher has been best player on ice last 2 games. Preds hit 3 posts and a crossbar and 2 of the SJS goals were redirected by Pred defenseman.. Just crazy

Weber made Pavs go sideways into Rinne after sticking his leg out. Pavs looked to be putting on the brakes |

So none of yours ever went in off lucky bounces this series? If anyone was lucky to make OT last night it was the Preds |

While the contact with Weber makes Pavs body turn sideway, like a pirouette (damn French words, had to look that spelling up), his path remained true and straight. The only thing the Weber contact changes was that instead of running Rinne over head on, Pavs body hit him in the chest with his whole side... Still, absolutely no slew foot involved. |

Close enough, it wasnt from behind in the truest sense but still dirty to turn your leg out instead of taking the body |

IMO all the attention and pressure will be on Jones. Waiting to see how he responds. Unchartered territory for him. |

What IF he had not touched the puck after contact with pekka, in other words had he allowed it go in, would it still have been a pentalty? |
