Burrows does not deserve to be sent down. Give him the dignity of playing in the NHL. The guy has been a warrior for us .

Bear with me, but on a separate topic, I sense a disconcerting pattern here when it comes to injuries and day to day player management (the Canucks have seemingly been in the top tier of teams who have missed a lot of man-games due to injury over the last few years). I'm wondering if there is something that the training/development staff could be doing better to avoid losing players to injury. Perhaps a different training regime or more minimalistic approach is needed? as obviously there is something going on when we are consistently running into a lot of man-games lost. Who actually oversees these type of dynamics and day to day game-shape metrics?. Thoughts?

I say that and then hope nobody gets hurt, even if it is more wrestling and throwing Backes down, I'd be happy.

The team is slowly changing it's image. Even the Sedins aren't turning the other cheek as often.

With that scrum after Nurse finished his check on Baertschi last night, I was hoping one of the Russians was going to get into it, but I guess they weren't on the ice. Happy that Sven wasn't just going to skate away and McCann got in there too.

I can live with some of the losing but not getting beat up along the way.
