Carol Schram: Vancouver Canucks: Lines Change For Moms' Trip, Tempting Hamhuis to Waive The Vancouver Canucks will be joined by their mothers on their two-game road trip to Denver and Arizona this week. Also, a carrot that might convince Dan Hamhuis to waive his no-trade clause.

That's a juicy nugget for Hamhuis. Tip yourself a little extra this week. Well deserved.

Bieksa is already on record lobbying hard for Hamhuis. Anaheim is becoming the Canucks South. Do you think he'll waive and would management be happy with draft picks or do they want a player.

To add to the Hamhuis situation, Buff is in the process of signing an extension. Let the bidding begin.

"Desjardins confirms Markstrom will start tomorrow in Denver and that he'll think about splitting the goalie duties this week."

it's the same as I said last season...WD wont change a thing until we are already f$cked. That's wayyyy too late.

Time for a change behind the bench. Also The teams uninspired play and retarded lines changes while WD does nothing to rectify is getting beyond excusable.

There goes my #1 dman dream.
Hamhuis value going up however.
Off season plan to find a #3 D that had potential and is stuck behind a solid top pairing.

Buff is way too fat to keep up at this speed. Hence only 5 year contract.

It's under duress, believe me. After watching the complete lack of scoring punch in the last two games, I can't see how this team will be able to climb out of the hole it just dug itself.

I am feelin' pretty good about the fact that I predicted that Buff would re-sign with the Jets in my Bleacher Report story. Maybe that bodes well for my sudden sense of optimism that (EDIT) HAMMER WAIVING is the right thing to do?

Canucks would need 20 wins in the next thirty games to get to 92 points

You want to waive Hamhuis?

That's like taking Charlie's golden ticket and throwing it out the window.

It sounds possible but then the fact they haven't been able to win more than 2 in a row all season makes it sound unrealistic.

Why not, let's really tan... err pumpkin, waive the Sedins, Dorsett, and Burrows too while we're at it, then we can bring up Shinkaruk and Gaunce, and Kenins and go full suck.

EDIT: We'd have the most expensive farm team in history then too with all that money buried in Utica.

I think we will be closer to winning 10 games but I hope it's less.

Leafs are getting a jump on tanking , they are bringing up 3 AHL players . We need to follow suit.

She said waiving Hammer is the right thing to do...

Maybe she meant having him waive his ntc, but it didn't come across like that.

I think he would waive and sign back here in the summer. It's a win win for him and more importantly, us.
