With Luongo and the three players sent down the Canucks now have 4.3 mil in wasted cap space.
The funny thing is most here would agree it is necessary. |

Miller starts because he's the man driving the undercover ninja tank. JB is a genius. Tell Fernando your doing the best you can to make the playoffs. Riding our 6million dollar goalie to the promised land. He just didn't tell Aqualoonie the promised land was a top five pick at the draft |

Hockey day in Canada is so gimmicky... If only Ron MacLean wasn't part of it. |

He's played well this year when rested, better than other teams starters to be honest, with only a year left someone may take a chance and trade for him.
Or they could keep him and split the starts? |

They should definitely be giving Markstrom more starts but as long as WD is coach and Miller is on the bench it will be hard. Millers salary is the hard part to trade |

That's what we said about Prust with WD loving him, things change and there's always a way get something done if they eat 50% of his salary for one year or something along those lines. |

If you eat 50% then you still need to bring in a goalie for at least 1 mil . You would be paying 4 mil for a crappy goalie. You are better off to keep Miller for the extra year and cut your losses. Try to move him next year at TDL.
We are not winning anything next year anyways |

I wonder if it can happen in the offseason though. Winnipeg maybe? Some fringe team with inconsistant goaltending. I could seee SJ or Ana picking him up for insurance at the TDL, Anahiem's achilles heel come playoffs is goaltending it seems.
In other news, Vantel did you notice the Hamuis to Washington story on tsn, apparently you were onto something |
